White Spot – Duncan

White Spot is a dependable stop when you’re in the mood for comfort food. We were seated right away, and the service was warm and welcoming. I went with the Cheddar Bacon Burger and swapped out fries for a Caesar salad (no croutons).

The burger was juicy and cooked to a rare medium-well — not the typical well-done you’d expect in Canada — and the bacon had just the right crisp. The salad was fresh, lightly dressed, and topped with shaved parmesan.

We finished with a mini apple pie à la mode. It had a slightly firm crust, but the filling was warm and perfectly spiced. The service remained attentive throughout the meal.
